We supply reefer containers fitted with Thermo King, Daikin and Carrier refrigeration units across our new and used ranges. Share your cargo set-point and on-site power supply so our engineers can recommend the right unit.

What certifications do your containers and factory hold?

CIMIC holds an ISO quality management certificate and a BV (Bureau Veritas) shipping certificate. Our offshore dry cargo containers are manufactured in compliance with DNV certification. ISO containers used in international transport should carry a valid CSC safety approval plate, and we confirm the documentation of each unit before shipment.

What is the difference between a reefer container and an insulated container?

A reefer container has an integrated refrigeration unit that actively cools or heats cargo to a set temperature and needs a power supply. An insulated container uses thickened foam walls to slow temperature change passively, with no power required, which suits shorter routes and temperature-sensitive cargo that does not need active freezing.

Are your used containers inspected before sale?

Our second-hand containers are units retired from shipping line fleets and are stored at various ports in China. We share photos and condition details of the specific unit you are buying so you can verify structure, doors, floor and, for reefers, the refrigeration unit before shipment.

Do you accept OEM, ODM and custom container orders?

Yes. We build tailor-made OEM and ODM containers and provide one-to-one engineering support. Stock and used units can usually be ordered in small quantities, while the minimum order quantity for custom builds depends on the specification.
